Join MPS Community Education on Saturday, December 6 at Mill City Farmers Market to shop the winter market and create your own holiday charcuterie board. We'll meet in the ADM Conference Room at 9:30 AM, then walk through the market with Executive Director Ella Daniels, learning about the market’s vendors and products. Each attendee will receive a handmade charcuterie board and a smorgasbord of locally-sourced meat, cheese, spreads and other snacks. Attendees will also receive market tokens to select a custom item from the farmers market's local farm vendors and food makers. Cost of the class includes new skills and a fully-made charcuterie board with ingredients sourced from local farms and food businesses.

About Mill City Farmers Market:
Mill City Farmers Market is Minneapolis’ trusted source for healthy, local and sustainable groceries, combining a vibrant marketplace with nourishing community connection. MCFM is a non-profit organization that was founded in June of 2006 by farm-to-table chef and restaurateur Brenda Langton, in collaboration with the Mill City Museum. With over 100 local farmers, food makers and artists, MCFM strives to build a local, sustainable and organic food economy in a vibrant, educational marketplace. The year-round Saturday Market runs outdoors May through October and is located next to the Guthrie Theater on 2nd Street S. and Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis’ Downtown East neighborhood. MCFM has its Winter Markets inside the historic Mill City Museum (no admission required) on select Saturdays November through April. LOCATION: Group meets at 9:30 AM in the 7th floor conference room (accessible via the 710 S 2nd Street entrance). Mill City Farmers Market is located at 750 S 2nd St., Minneapolis, MN 55401.
COST: For $115, participants will go home with new skills and a fully-made charcuterie board with locally-sourced ingredients. If you would like bring your own tray or wooden cutting board (approximately 12" x 12" or 12" x 8"), you may register for $50.

Ella Daniels is the Executive Director of Mill City Farmers Market & Charitable Fund. She brings to this role over a decade of experience in food systems and food access work. Most recently she was the Director of Corporate Partnerships at Partnership for a Healthier America (former First Lady Michelle Obama's program). She has also worked as a Strategic Advisor at the United Nations World Food Programme and as the Manager of Corporate Partnerships at the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, DC. Her experience provides her with valuable insights into the factors that shape our modern food system, as well as its economic, health, social and environmental inequities. Now, Ella is proud to be part of Minnesota’s efforts to create a future where everyone can share in the benefits of a local, equitable and sustainable food system.
