Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Learn how to use UV resin doming to save and seal designs from found materials like paper and fabric scraps, cardboard packaging and more and turn them into magnets. This is a beginner friendly class option for those who are looking into learning more about resin art. All materials are provided for students to make three magnets each.

Kate Urmann (she/her) has been working as an artist in local art markets for over two years and is so excited to share her process and teach others to be able to create what they have been dreaming up. She has knowledge in resin, jewelry, woodworking, stained glass, sewing, and so much more. Kate believes it is so empowering to be able to make the things we put in our homes and realize that we are capable of so much more than we thought. We know creating art goes beyond simply making a thing, it's expression, it's practice, it's whatever you put into it, and it can be so fun to know "I can make that". Kate values cultivating a safe and accessible space, whatever that can mean, especially for marginalized folks; please reach out if there are any accommodations she can make for you.
