While the XXV Winter Olympics are happening in Cortina Milano (Italy) this February, come explore a charming German story set during the IV Winter Games in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Zwei Schueler sind verschwunden, written by Erich Kaestner and published in 1962 in Das Schwein beim Friseur und anderes, tells the story of truants Matz and Uli and their adventures with the Canadian hockey team.This class is for mostly confident readers of German; discussion will be in German and English.

This class is priced on a sliding fee scale. Please pay the price you are able. This helps to ensure that Community Education can provide quality opportunities for all of our participants.

Suzanne Jebe

Many years of travel and teaching - with experience in the Minnesota and Connecticut schools - have given Suzanne a passion for this heritage language. She has taught Pre-K to Grade 12, worked with teacher education, and written textbooks and other teaching materials for several publishers.
