Celebrate bold creativity and uplifting self-expression in this art class inspired by the iconic work of Keith Haring. Known for his vibrant, graffiti-style imagery and universally recognizable symbols. Haring emerged from the New York City street art scene in the 1980s, using his art to advocate for social justice. As HIV/AIDS ravaged the New York art scene and the LGBTQ+ community, Haring's art responded with urgency, humor, and anger. His playful yet powerful visual language—radiant babies, dancing figures, and hearts—spoke to joy, movement, and connection.
In this workshop, participants will explore Haring’s distinctive style while creating their own affirmation-based artwork that promotes positivity, confidence, and personal empowerment.
No experience needed just a willingness to try something new.
