Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Join us for a four-week deep dive on the basics of singing! Through gentle instruction and guided practice, you will learn the tools to get you on your way to finding your own voice. All levels of singing experience are welcome.

Jordy Vaughn is a vocalist, recording artist, and teacher based out of the Twin Cities. She spent her youth performing in musical theater and training in classical vocal performance. In 2016, Vaughn began writing her own music and quickly captured the attention of multi-talented Minneapolis creative, Megan Hamilton. Hamilton went on to record and produce Vaughn’s debut EP “Bloom” which was released on November 19th, 2019 and was celebrated by the Minneapolis music community.
During the Covid-19 shutdown in 2020, Vaughn began elevating her vocal technical skills through study and apprenticeship with celebrated Transformational Voice teacher, Maire Clement. In January of 2024, Vaughn opened her own voice teaching business and she now teaches private lessons, group classes, and children’s music classes to a diverse group of students. After the release of her second EP, “New Moon Rising,” Vaughn was named as one of the best new bands in 2024 by KFAI Radio. She is currently writing another collection of songs, and offering meditative music sessions at local yoga studios.
