In this class, we will discuss the realities of youth homelessness in the Twin Cities, and how one approach, host home programs, can positively impact people's lives. Learn ways that you can get involved with one organization that is doing this important work to make the Twin Cities safer for all.
An educator since 2008, Haven Davis has taught community education classes on a variety of topics. Since 2022, she has served as a volunteer with Avenues for Youth, a role that sparked a deep passion for the Conneqt Host Home program. Working in close collaboration with the program manager to develop course content, Haven is dedicated to bridging the gap between engaged Minneapolis residents and vital youth support initiatives. She believes that community education is the perfect venue to raise awareness and foster the continued success of the Conneqt program.
