Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Give the gift of learning. Gift vouchers can be purchased in a variety of denominations and can be used for most Community Education Youth & Adult Enrichment classes. Some restrictions apply.
Learn to code with interactive robots and also build your typing skills! This class provides a unique blend of hands-on technology and essential digital literacy skills. In each session, we'll focus on three key skills: typing/keyboarding, computer basics, coding, and robotics. Students will learn how to more quickly and accurately type on a keyboard. They'll also master important computer skills like using keyboard shortcuts, making them confident digital navigators. This class is all about having a good time while building essential tech skills that will set them up for success in the digital world!
Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. Extended Learning (ALC) classes are free.
