  • Art & Craft Club (Justice Page)

    Be inspired, get creative, and make cool art! You'll exchange creative ideas, create works of art, and meet new friends with similar interests. This class will be a hands-on, creative thinking, individual expression, and experimentation workshop atmosphere. This is a great place to explore your artistic interests. In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.
  • Dungeons and Dragons with Badwolf All Levels (Justice Page)

    Dungeons and Dragons with Badwolf Adventure Studios. Dungeon masters will run two all level campaigns. Students will do everything from character creation, learning rules, and then taking your character into an adventure. Use creative ideas and collaborative story telling to go on an adventure with your friends.
  • GEMS and GISE - Stem Academy ALC (Justice Page)

    The GEMS-GISE-STEM Academies are after-school STEM programs designed specifically for Minneapolis Public School District students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The programs focus on explorations of science and mathematics through project-based and problem-based learning experiences promoting the integration of engineering and technology concepts, content, and process. Students that participate in GEMS-GISE enroll in a year-long after-school program that is comprised of two semester courses with an opportunity to continue learning in the six week summer K-8 STEM Academy. This class is offered as a Tuesdaya nd Thursday class. We would love for students to attend both days but understand that is not always possible. Please join us, even if for one day each week. Fall 2025: Robotics- Middle School Robotics Team In this dynamic robotics class, students will explore mechanical design, construction, programming, and teamwork skills. Working in pairs with LEGO building elements, motors, and sensors, they will build various robot prototypes. Students will program these robots to move, react, and make sounds, applying their skills to solve design challenges using LEGO SPIKE Essential & Prime robotic systems. The class will culminate in participation in the 2026 FIRST LEGO League Challenge UNEARTHED℠ on January 17, 2026. Get ready to dig in! In the UNEARTHED℠ Challenge, students and their LEGO team will harness creativity, critical thinking, and technology to explore this season’s challenge. Teams are challenged to combine the thrill of archaeology with the power of technology. It's a chance for students to use their STEM skills, innovation, and teamwork to uncover the past and help shape the future! Spring 2026: Build, Power, Create! (Energy-Electricity-Electronics) Power up your mind! In our Energy, Electricity, and Electronics course, students will be an investigator, diving into the core concepts that light up our world. Students explore the fundamentals of energy, including how it's measured, converted, and transferred. We will also look to the future, examining the importance of conservation and the potential of alternative energy sources through a hands-on, problem-based approach. Students will conduct investigations into key concepts like currents, open and closed circuits, series and parallel circuits, and static electricity. Students also explore the properties of conductors and insulators, and the principles of magnetism as they work on exciting, project-based experiments. Get ready to level up! Engage in exciting electronics projects, middle school students learn to build, test, and troubleshoot circuits using circuit boards and other electronic components. The adventure continues with a special opportunity to explore the fascinating world of digital electronics. Students will create their own projects using microcontrollers and sensors, bringing their ideas to life! This class is only open to Justice Page Students.
  • Improv (Justice Page)

    Join fellow theater enthusiasts for Improv! You don't have to be funny, you don't have to be quick or clever. Students take the size risk they want to in the moment while working on getting out of their heads. You don't have to be theatrical, just say yes to what's in front of you, and truly interesting things can happen. Each session will consist of warm-ups, an introduction, exercises, and games.   • Justice Green Team (Justice Page-ALC)

    Do you want an opportunity to make Justice Page and the world a better place? Do you love thrifting, vintage clothes or want to help with our 2nd hand fashion show? Are you interested in hearing from people in our community that make positive environmental and social changes? Do you like potatoes and hot sauce? Because we cook up potatoes each week, sometimes other snacks too! If you said yes to any of these questions, consider joining the Justice Page Green Team! The Green Team at Justice Page is a group of students who are working together to make our world a better place. We will work hard to put on big events at school. The Green Team is a fun way to learn more about environmental issues, and sustainability, and work with other students who share a passion for making our school and community a great place to live. Students will have a voice and choice in what we focus on. This class will be FUN and make an IMPACT! Potatoes and snacks are a nice little bonus to this class, hard to save the planet on an empty stomach! Join us! This class is only open to Justice Page students.

    Math and Movement (Justice Page- ALC)

    Need help with Math? This is the class for you. Ms. Novak will work with you and small groups to understand and complete Math work. Gain confidence in asking and answering math questions. You will also play other math games to build on what you know. The second half of Math and Movement will be spent moving your body doing circuit workouts, meditation, and other exercies in the gym.

    Volleyball for Fun! (Justice Page)

    Connect with friends and play Volleyball afterschool! All levels are welcome to join. Play games, practice drills, go over rules and terminology so you feel confident on the court. Come have fun! In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. A sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Fees cover instructor pay, class supplies, program materials, marketing and scholarships. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay or select the no-cost option. We have always offered partial and full scholarships upon request. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making these requests. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.
