Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).

Paul Edsten has been a trained AARP volunteer instructor since 2022. He is a retired sales and marketing executive with a passion for safety both at the workplace and on the road. In addition to his work with AARP he participates in many other volunteer groups including Dakota County Parks, the First Tee of Minnesota program and the Minnesota Aurora women’s soccer team.
His experience and training in driving safety includes both hands-on, and classroom driving safety. These classes (held every 2-3 years throughout his career) have included the Bridgestone winter and ice driving challenge, defensive driving skills along with numerous safe driver class reviews.
Paul will weave his professional and personal driving experiences in with the award-winning Smart Driving Course training. This course has helped millions of drivers age 50+ sharpen their skill and knowledge of driving safely on today’s roads!
