Join local card maker, Anne Frazer, and learn how to use baby wipes to spread colored inks on paper and make your own handmade collaged cards, perfect for any occasion! No craft experience necessary. Supplies will be provided to create 5 cards.
Making cards has been my hobby for over 25 years. I started using rubber stamps with dye based inks and then expanded to pigment inks, alcohol inks and markers, along with watercolors and acrylic paints.
In 2012 I certified as a Copic Alcohol Ink Marker instructor. Over the years I have worked for several stamp companies as a member of their design team, which has helped to promote their sales. For the past two years I have been working with Lavinia Stamp Company in Wales, UK. My work has been published in stamping magazines, including Rubber Stamp Madness, and Stampers Sampler. Both of these have also featured my work on their cover. I also have my work on the internet on Facebook and Instagram, as well as Lavinia Stamp Company’s website.
I love playing with new techniques and using them in my card designs. I share these card making techniques with other card makers thru teaching. I have taught classes at local crafting stores and in my home, as well as the Minneapolis School District. For the last 10 years I have been teaching card making to kids, beginning and advance card makers, seniors and vulnerable adults
