As the first residential and commercial (2019) land trust in Minnesota, Rondo Community Land Trust (CLT) is a leader in its field. Join Rondo Community Land Trust staff on a tour of our residential, commercial, and real estate development work along Selby Avenue in the heart of the Rondo neighborhood. With goals to bring back the 300 businesses and 700 homes lost to I-94, our work stems from the challenges that many communities across the country face due to urban renewal projects and displacement. As we know too well, economic displacement isn’t just financial—it breaks community ties. Through our work on Selby Avenue and across our greater geography, Rondo CLT uplifts cultural identity alongside economic investment to restore and strengthen neighborhoods.
Meet at Rondo Community Land Trust located at 1041 Selby Ave, St Paul, MN 55104.
If the tour is full, please add your name to the waitlist. We will let you know if spots become available.
NOTE: Only transfer of registration after Oct 1st. Refund of $55 if we are able to fill your spot.
Since 1993, Rondo Community Land Trust has provided affordable homeownership and economic opportunities for low-to-moderate income families and entrepreneurs. Gaining our name from St. Paul’s historically Black Rondo neighborhood, our origins and ethos are tethered to the widespread impacts of our community’s mass displacement following the construction of I-94. Over 30 years after our founding, Rondo CLT continues to work on behalf of our communities in Rondo, the City of Saint Paul, and greater Ramsey and Dakota Counties- leveraging the ingenuity of the land trust model to build community wealth and neighborhood stability.
