Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Here's your chance to spend some uninterrupted time together participating in toddler-friendly activities that support growth and development.
A book club for ALL readers (even if they’re not Swifties!) who enjoy books that harmonize with the music of Taylor Swift; books about being fearless, finding your voice, exploring folklore, going back in time, love and friendship, tortured poetry, and maybe even a showgirl or two.
Together we’ll choose one book to listen to in class and one book to read at home; and we’ll explore those books with journaling, book circles, and bookish crafts and projects. We’ll also share the books we’re reading independently, choose theme songs to go with them, and discuss Taylor’s songs as actual stories with characters and plot lines – just like a book!
As part of the class, each participant will receive a book journal, a special journaling pen, and one book that we’ll be reading together as a class.
To ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay or select the no-cost option. We have always offered partial and full scholarships upon request. If you choose to pay above the class cost, you are helping provide opportunities for children in your community that would otherwise be unable to afford them. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making these requests. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.
