Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Here's your chance to spend some uninterrupted time together participating in toddler-friendly activities that support growth and development.
Get ready to roll into the world of robotics! In this hands-on, high-energy class, young learners will explore the basics of coding and problem-solving using the Sphero indi robot—a colorful, kid-friendly robot designed just for early learners. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and creativity! This class blends STEM learning with storytelling, teamwork, and plenty of movement to keep young minds engaged. By the end of the session, students will have a strong foundation in robotics concepts and a big boost in confidence as budding coders.

Please note a snack fee is built into the prices of all Extended Learning classes. All students will be offered a snack regardless of ability to pay.
**This class is in an Extended Learning class after school must have a Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) that will need to be signed by a Parent/Guardian and returned. Your child's after school teacher will send this form home with your child the first week of class.
This class begins on October 6th and ends on January 12th (11 weeks).
The deadline for after school transportation requests to start the first day is September 19th.

En esta clase práctica y dinámica, los jóvenes estudiantes explorarán los fundamentos de la programación y la resolución de problemas con el robot Sphero indi, un robot colorido y apto para niños, diseñado especialmente para principiantes. No se necesita experiencia previa, ¡solo curiosidad y creatividad! Esta clase combina el aprendizaje STEM con la narración de cuentos, el trabajo en equipo y mucho movimiento para mantener las mentes de los jóvenes ocupadas.
