Metro Blooms is a nonprofit organization in South Minneapolis that partners with communities to nurture and support thriving ecosystems, land and water. We practice shared leadership and care, moving towards environmental justice. Through our Blue Thumb education programming, we strive to share knowledge and resources to protect our environment and create a more sustainable future. Our staff and partner presenters have a passion for sharing about rain gardens, planting for pollinators, and generally restoring Minnesota native plants to our landscapes. We value the knowledge workshop participants bring to these conversations and enjoy working together to change traditional landscaping norms.
