Just in time for Valentine’s! Learn to give a 60 minute full body spa quality massage in this three part class series. Taught by a retired massage therapist and current doctor of physical therapy candidate, this class will focus on making massage comfortable both to receive and to give. Massage can be a wonderful way to connect with and care for the ones we love. Class will be taught fully clothed and partners will take turns both giving and receiving massage. Pairs are required to register together.
For your own comfort, please bring to class a yoga mat and three pillows; blanket and lotion optional.
Carolyn is a retired massage therapist who ran a private practice in Washington state before relocating to Minnesota to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Carolyn loves helping people feel more physically comfortable – her instruction focuses on proper body mechanics and traditional Swedish techniques to help partners relieve stress, prevent injury, and foster intimacy.
