Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).

Here's your chance to spend some uninterrupted time together participating in toddler-friendly activities that support growth and development.
Give the gift of learning. Gift vouchers can be purchased in a variety of denominations and can be used for most Community Education Youth & Adult Enrichment classes. Some restrictions apply.
Dive into the world of traditional wool and discover the beauty, diversity, and unique qualities of heritage sheep breeds! Students will gain an appreciation for the tactile richness of heritage wools. The class will also discuss breed conservation, sustainable sourcing, and how these traditional fibers connect us to regional histories and landscapes.
You can choose to spin, weave, knit, crochet, or needlefelt with wool fiber or yarn. Bring your favorite knitting or felting needles, crochet hooks, drop spindle or wheel, or borrow tools from the Guild. Small looms will be available for students with no prior fiber art experience to weave samples.
This class is adaptable to varying levels of dexterity. All experience and skill levels are welcome.
