Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Perfect for those who’ve never used a sewing machine! In this fun and supportive class, you’ll learn the essential do’s and don’ts of machine sewing while completing a simple, practical project—a reversible tote bag. By the end of class, you’ll feel confident using a sewing machine and proud of your finished creation.
Note: You must either use one of our classroom machines or have completed the Machine Empowerment: Getting to Know Your Home Sewing Machine class before enrolling.
Material fee includes: all materials needed to make the tote bag and thread.

CJ Jensen is a mult-disiplenary designer and co-owner of Sew It Together in Northeast Minneapolis. CJ can often be found behind a sewing machine, fixing it or using it for improv quilting. She is deeply in love with Minnesota and the Twin Cities.
