Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Does your student love fun, food and trying what everyone’s talking about? In this after-school class students will make exciting, kid-friendly recipes inspired by popular food trends. Students will mix, measure, create, and taste delicious snacks and treats. Along the way, they’ll learn simple cooking skills, kitchen safety, and how to work together as a team. Every class is about having fun, being creative, and feeling proud of what they make! *At the end of the winter session, students will have the opportunity to do an after-school food cook-off during our parent night!
Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. Extended Learning (ALC) classes are free.
