Join Colin Monette, guitarist/performer/singer/songwriter/instructor, for Guitar 1. Where he will walk you through the basics of a 12 Bar Blues, a Blues Bass Line, I-IV-V chord progression and use of the Pentatonic/Blues Scale. You'll learn a few chord shapes, and simple scale patterns that will hopefully motivate and inspire your musical journey.
Colin Roy Monette has been a professional guitarist in the Twin Cities for 25 years, leading a creative career by teaching, performing, writing and recording music. As a singer-songwriter he has 5 Albums of original music. Recognized as a band leader playing Blues, Jazz, and Americana music, Colin enjoys the process of learning and teaching songs, with a focus on music theory and performance.
