A+ Driving School is partnering with Minneapolis Public Schools Community Education to offer scholarships covering the cost of A+'s fully online driver's education class. This 30-hour class is available on demand. You can view the content at your own pace for up to 3 hours a day. A study guide accompanies each lesson and instructors are on call to give support and answer messages. This program is fully approved by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. It is made specifically for Minnesota students by Minnesota driving instructors!
The registration window for the scholarship is open February 1-28 and you can register for the scholarship by clicking the "Enroll" button on this page. You will be emailed a discount code and log in information at the end of February so you can start the class at your own pace.
Students have 6 months to complete the online program. Behind the wheel instruction is not included. Minnesota State Law requires students to be present during all 30 hours of classroom training to receive their certificate of completion which allows them to enroll in Behind-the-Wheel Training. Drivers between the ages of fifteen and eighteen wishing to take their instructional permit test have to show proof of enrollment in six hours of Behind-the-Wheel Training. This proof of enrollment is commonly referred to as a blue card. Minneapolis Community Education makes no recommendation for providers of Behind-the-Wheel Training but can give contact information to families of specific providers upon request. Cost for Behind-the-Wheel Training is not included in the cost of this classroom instruction. Expect to pay $350+.
