Foreign Policy Discussion: Why International Cooperation Matters (Roosevelt 55+)

Lifelong Learning 55+ / Adventures in Learning -
Lifelong Learning 55+ Spring 2026

Drawing on her experiences as Foreign Service Officer, Anne Linnee will examine how multilateral institutions—many founded after World War II—are adapting to today’s changing world order. The talk explores what still works, what is under strain, and why international cooperation continues to matter for global stability, security, and prosperity.

Foreign Policy Discussions presentations are offered through the nationwide Great Decisions program to learn more about vital foreign policy issues facing our country. The sessions feature lectures and lively discussions with local college professors and other guest speakers.

This program is co-sponsored with the Westminster Magnet program.
