Bodyshaping (Roosevelt 55+)

Enjoy a high-energy workout with fun and lively music. Bodyshaping is a system of strength training and flexibility exercises that combines the best elements of free weights and yoga. Use of your own exercise/yoga mat and 2 sets of hand weights of different weights suggested.

This class is priced on a sliding fee scale. Please pay the price you are able. This helps to ensure that Community Education can provide quality opportunities for all of our participants.

Instructor

Birgit John


Birgit John began as a Bodyshaping student at Pratt many years ago before deciding to teach. She attended training and is certified as a Group Fitness Instructor through the University of Minnesota (ACE Specialist Program). She also teaches water aerobics at the University of Minnesota. Besides teaching, Birgit enjoys the great outdoors (Hiking, biking, kayaking) with her husband, traveling in their trailer throughout the US.
