Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

The Mississippi Queen riverboat docks there now but in the day, the Mississippi flats below the old Northern Pacific Rail bridge was the home to new immigrants arriving from Western Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries. Through photos and stories, find out about this community which was without city water or electricity and flooded most springs. There is a roofed shelter on the site, portapotty and paid parking for this one hour talk. Your guide is Minneapolis historian Maureen Trepp. Please meet at 1:00 at Bohemian Flats Park which is at 2150 W. River Parkway.

A Minneapolis resident from birth, Maureen has the lived, researched, and historical knowledge of some of the amazing neighborhoods in Minneapolis. A retired Mpls. Public Schools teacher and Mill City Museum History Interpreter, Maureen loves the city and sharing the stories of the individuals, the sites, and the events that have shaped our city into the diverse, naturally attractive, vibrant economic power of today. Maureen enjoys caring for her 7 grandchildren (who all live in Mpls.), playing tennis, reading, traveling, creating theater productions with children, and watching the Gopher Volleyball team.
