Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).

This is a hand-building ceramic course for students to explore their creativity while experiencing everything clay. You will learn the entire creative process of making a piece from start to finish, the stages of clay, and glazing. This includes hand-building techniques like wedging, pinch, coil and slab. You will have the opportunity to build crazy creatures, fun food and more! We’ll also explore ceramic artists, personal expression, and our community in the process. Come create and connect with clay!
This class is funded through Extended Learning through Minneapolis Public Schools. Every student who is in an Extended Learning class after school must have a Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) that will need to be signed by a Parent/Guardian and returned. Your child's after school teacher will send this form home with your child the first week of class.
