Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).

Say “hello” to a world of creativity with Young Rembrandts. Students will learn how to draw a cheery snowman all by themselves. We use simple shapes to teach the basics of drawing that even our youngest learner can learn from. Dive into delightful winter-themed art like cozy mittens and playful penguins. These are the perfect activities to spark young imagination afterschool.

This class begins February 3rd and ends on March 24th (8 weeks).
Note: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. The cost of the class is listed first. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable.
