Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Calling all theater lovers! "Disney Musicals in Schools" is coming to Keewaydin! We are proud to announce that Keewaydin has been chosen by Hennepin Arts to receive a three year grant to enhance our performing arts program in grades 2-5. This year we will be performing "101 Dalmatians” as our Musical! Ms. Perez & Ms. Johnson will be the leads as well as two Hennepin Arts teaching artists.
*This opportunity requires students to sign up for afterschool both winter & spring sessions- Tuesdays AND Thursdays. It is a full commitment and an amazing opportunity. Students will be performing 3 total shows and a student sharing performance will be on May 19th at the State Theater! Parents & families are invited to all performances. Space is limited. Come join the show!
Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. Extended Learning (ALC) classes are free.
