Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Give the gift of learning. Gift vouchers can be purchased in a variety of denominations and can be used for most Community Education Youth & Adult Enrichment classes. Some restrictions apply.
Olson SLAM (Snacks, Laughs, Art & Movement) Aftercare is a fee for service program for students attending MPS Summmer scholars at Lucy Laney, Pillsbury or Green. Olson aftercare is from 2:30 – 5:00 pm. Transportation will be provided from the Summer Scholars location to the SLAM location at Olson. There is no transportation provided from SLAM to home. Caregivers are responsible for picking up at the end of program by 5 pm.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ONLY A CERTAIN NUMBER OF SPACES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT EACH SLAM LOCATION. The application opens February 22nd at 5 pm. You will want to apply right away.

Community Education offers a sliding scale model for program fees so our summer programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs.
