Women in the Soviet Union (Roosevelt 55+)

Lifelong Learning 55+ / Adventures in Learning -
Lifelong Learning 55+ Winter 2026

At the beginning of the Revolution, the assumption of complete equality of men and women was the norm. All occupations, education, and opportunities were now constitutionally open to women. How did the realities of daily life handle this equality? Looking at the art of the era illuminates both the ideal and the reality.

This program is cosponsored by Minneapolis Community Education and the Hennepin County Library.
