Have you ever wanted to make crop art? Join crop artist and crop art educator Marta Shore as she guides you through your first piece. As you work, Marta will outline the history and rules of crop art so you will leave the class ready to make a piece for the Minnesota State Fair! The cost of the course includes your own take-home kit with everything you need to make crop art.
Marta Shore is an award-winning crop artist and educator. She started making crop art in 2015 as a way to force people to read her puns. Each year, she challenged herself to learn more techniques. As a result, she has competed in seven different crop art categories and earned ribbons in 6 of them. As an educator, she explains complicated concepts in clear language and provide guidance so others can successfully apply those concepts to their work. Since becoming the Assistant Superintendent for Crop Art and Scarecrow at the Minnesota State Fair this year, she has decided to no longer compete and instead teach others how to express themselves through crop art.
